Government Relations and HR Operations Sr. Officer

**Saudi Nationals Only. Location: Al Khobar City**
**Job Purpose**
- To ensure smooth running of all HR operations within GBNTC & Know
- Provide a key inter-face between the company and all levels of Government organizations / authorities, allowing all employees to perform their job efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Managing the company’s government portals (GOSI, Qiwa, Mudad, Tamm, Absher Business, etc.) with all its admin tasks. Request approvals before processing any.
- Strengthening partnerships with all levels of government; national, county & communities.
- Add value to business by ensuring compliance of company processes to government laws and regulations, ensuring timely submissions and approvals for new work permits as well as maintenance of registered licenses in alignment with local regulations and corporate policies
- Liaise with the Regulatory Authorities so as to provide appropriate answers to the management on matters relating to Regulatory approvals/queries
- Monitor and keep in touch with changes in the regulatory environment
- Working with colleagues to understand their government-related challenges so as to formulate a cohesive, comprehensive government operations strategy
- Issue employee’s residence/Iqama permits and process annual renewals upon approvals.
- Always track residence/Iqama expiry dates and inform the management of any expirations less than two months period.
- Issue employment contracts of all types including electronic government templates (Qiwa and GOSI), always request approvals from HR Management on the contract content before issuing.
- Oversee employees contract expirations and inform management with at least 3 months of any employment contract expiry.
- Process new employees visa sponsorship transfer, travel re-entry permissions of business trips and holidays, final exit permissions for leavers, passports renewals update with Immigration, follow and comply with the exact GBNTC policy related to payments of these requests. Finally obtain approvals before processing.
- Assist on all Recruitment, Onboarding, and leavers operations (NDAs, scan all copies, update employees file, prepare welcome pack, provide stationaries, prepare workstation equipments, provide all related forms to be signed by staff)
- Handle all HR Operations matters (Medical Insurance issuance and inquiries, Annual Leaves, Medical Leaves, follow up with employees to fill the forms and follow the right procedure, answer employees’ inquiries and provide solutions, etc.)
- Manage and Prepare leave summary reports on monthly basis and submit it to Accounts. Covering all leave types.
- Maintain updated database of employees on google sheet / leavers / Tamheer and Trainees and update on regular basis, prepare and send monthly updated reports to the management.
- Obtain monthly Saudization certificate.
- Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
- Manage and oversee company facilities and its maintenance. Follow up with the owners on any faults in ACs / Heating / Electricity / Water, Etc.
- Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
- Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
**Minimum Education**:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Business or related field is required
Fully aware of the government portals and Saudi Labour Law
**Experience**:
5+ Years of experience as HR Officer, PRO/GRO in Saudi Arabia
