We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Contracts & Commercial Manager. Based out of our Riyadh office in KSA, reporting directly to the Project Director and working alongside the project team in one of our prestigious projects, you’ll be responsible to plan, organize and manage the negotiation, preparation, and processing of contracts, provide technical information and assistance to contractors and administration, prepare and administer Requests for Qualifications (RFQ’s) and Requests for Proposals (RFP’s), review proposals, assure compliance, administer and adjust the procurement process as required. This position requires excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills, good decision-making capabilities.

You’ll play a critical role in project budget management, change control support, negotiation and monthly invoice processing. You’ll become fully integrated with the project core team, providing contract administration, advising the team on contract risk terms, evaluate compliance requirements defined in RFPs and contracts including review of government regulations, statutes, and Client procedures and requirements. In partnership with project managers and operations teams, you’ll ensure proper change management and reimbursement by clients for valid contract changes. Here’s a summary of the contributions you’ll make to assigned contracts:

- Advise the Project Director and operations on contractual significance of proposed actions.
- Prepare and provide contractually significant communications and notices
- Work with the PD and Operations to ensure proper change management and reimbursement by client for valid contract changes.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, statutes, and Client procedures and requirements
- Coordinate with Legal, Insurance, Risk, Project Controls, and Project Business Services on commercial terms and risk issues
- Participate in functional management team reviews and audits
- Review Design-Builder’s invoices in accordance with the contract terms and prepare for submittal to client
- Assist with month-end reporting on project performance including budget variances and all other financial aspects, preparing specialized reports and accounting data analysis
- Communicating with the project team during the entire life cycle of the project and providing continuous support and guidance
- Liaising with the client and outside vendors to resolve cross-functional matters
- Interpreting accounting data, analyzing reports and recommending action to be taken
- Proposing process and system improvements
- Providing work guidance and support to coworkers.

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Construction, or Engineering
- At least 10 years of experience working on large and/or complex construction or infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction delivery systems (procurement) and components (change orders, claims, amendments, etc)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to build client relationships
- Contract Development for Construction Contracts - Bidding and Procurement
- Construction oversight of diversion work, experience tracking change orders and other construction documents
- Experience with coordination of technical group meetings

- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification is an added asset
