The opportunity

Project: This opportunity is to be involved in a major mixed-use development in Riyadh. The programme consists of over 200 projects including cultural and heritage assets, F&B, retail and hotels, commercial buildings, and educational facilities.

Mace is currently providing programme management and looking for high-calibre experienced people.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and monitoring the subcontractor and supply agreement process.
- Evaluating business improvement opportunities and making recommendations to reduce costs, increase productivity, improve economic value added and increase earnings before interest, taxes, and amortization.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures in relation to legal, financial, and administration matters - the standard of internal control and policies.
- Setting direction and providing clear and timely feedback to direct reports on their performance.
- Assisting clients in the preparation of contractual terms and conditions.
- Tracking implementation of contractual terms signed up with various vendors and suppliers such as insurance, bank guarantees, ESI and PF compliances, and other technical provisions of the contract.
- Supporting QS and cost consultant in the final closeout stage of contract closure.
- Preparing and finalizing a contract procurement schedule and prequalification criteria for the client’s approval.
- Assisting clients in contractor shortlisting, prequalification, and onboarding of contractors.
- Reviewing BOQ and certifying change orders after reviewing other contractors' scope of work and getting the client’s approval.
- Directing commercial and resource management.
- Guiding the commercial and financial management functions.
- Managing the performance of all operations from a commercial and financial perspective.
- Monitoring financial performance, financial analysis (including trend analysis), and preparing project performance reports and recommendations for the executive team.
- Developing and supervising the implementation of and adherence to the commercial management plan, subcontract management plant, and project risk management plan.
- Monitoring, reviewing, and keeping relevant parties informed on the timeliness, cost, revenue, risk, progress, and performance of the project.
- Liaising with the construction team to ensure commercial processes and operations are as effective, efficient, and transparent as possible.
