Manager, Admissions

Oversees the daily work in the Admission Offices. Reviews admission processes and recommends changes as necessary. Supervises and helps the Admission supervisors in managing the Bedboard, Interviews, Receptions and EMS areas.
**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Plans, organizes, and directs the Admission offices overall operational and daily activities.
3. Oversees scheduling systems, communicates job expectation; plans, monitors, appraises and reviews job contributions. Plans and reviews compensation actions and enforces policies and procedures.
4. Trains and educates team members to reach goals while maintaining a positive working environment.
5. Assists with day-to-day operations in admission including the managing of scheduling the staff attendance, etc.
6. Assists Department Head to ensure a high quality and quantity of admission cases of patients that have been processed.
7. Provides continuous feedback and aims to achieve the highest quality of customer experience while maintaining service metrics and regulatory requirements.
8. Engages in all activities of the Admission offices and meets targets and goals as they relate to management's goals.
9. Works in conjunction with management and Training and Development to effectively train on-board and new staff and identifies skill gaps of currents staff.
10. Meets Admission financial objectives by estimating requirements and preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
11. Maintains equipment by evaluating and installing. Develops preventive maintenance programs; calls for repairs, evaluating and implementing upgrades.
12. Provides the management with accurate and frequents reports related to admission and discharge activities.
13. Prepares Admission performance reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data and trends.
14. Gives accurate feedback in a constructive manner to staff in regards to all aspects of the rote, with particular attention to individual development.
**Education**:
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Hospital Administration, or related discipline is required.
**Experience Required**:
Five (5) years of related experience with Master's ,including two (2) years in Senior/ Supervisory position, or seven (7) years with Bachelor's Degree.
