We are currently looking for a **Senior Raw materials Buyer f/m** based ideally in our Water Solutions production site of** Al Jubail (or in the Al Damman office).**

The Senior Buyer is responsible for ensuring continuous supply of high-quality raw materials and services needed for the production of DuPont’s products. The buyer will be responsible for identifying suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of materials, while maintaining the quality of the products.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Identify, evaluate and select suppliers for raw materials & services.

Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.

Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise.

Work closely with the production and supply chain team to ensure that materials are delivered on time.

Ensure that all purchasing activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the production and supply chain team to ensure that materials are available when needed.

Monitor market trends, and supplier pricing to identify opportunities for cost savings

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production, quality control, and logistics to ensure a seamless supply chain.

Work with Service Center Buyer Support for timely Order releases to the suppliers.

This position reports to a Senior Buyer / Category Manager and would require to work with a cross functional team in a matrix reporting structure.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, **or a related** field of science **such as** Polymers or Chemicals.**:

- ** 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement,** preferably **in a manufacturing environment**:

- Knowledge of purchasing processes and procedures, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and inventory management.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with SAP or any other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- Experience in sourcing of chemical and polymer materials is highly desirable.
- Highest ethical standards.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and smooth relationship skills (internal clients, external suppliers).
- ** Proficiency in English **language is a must.
