What are the responsibilities of the Business Development Officer?
Client Engagement
- Initiate and nurture relationships with new and existing clients through effective communication and relationship-building strategies.
- Conduct meetings with clients to gain a deep understanding of their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
Project Sourcing
- Proactively source new projects and business opportunities, identifying areas for growth in alignment with company capabilities.
- Collaborate with the technical team to align client requirements with the company's expertise.
- Provide regular updates to management on client sales pipelines and progress.
Market Analysis
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Provide regular updates to management on market insights, client feedback, and potential opportunities.
Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the client base and enhance business partnerships.
- Work with cross-functional teams to align business development strategies with organizational goals.
Sales Performance
- Set and achieve sales targets, ensuring consistent growth in project acquisition.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
