**Responsibilities**:

- Develop a comprehensive Operations strategy to achieve the annual targets of the company.
- Provide strong, inspirational leadership which role models the ethics and values of the business, demonstrates cultural sensitivity, and maintains high personal visibility in the distribution centres, stores and business
- Devise policies and procedures (SOP’s) for the smooth functioning of operations.
- Ensure that a centralized computerized operations management system is established for tracking inventory records, availability and movement of stock, purchasing of items and their availability, movement of vehicles as per the destination and availability etc. Implement bar code system within the warehousing facility.
- Approved Operations strategy
- Approved SOP’s for Operations
- Implementation of centralized ERP to track supply chain activities including barcode.
- Approved SMART objectives
- Monthly management reports w.r.t key objectives
- Insurances of the Facility
- Influence commercial strategy to consider end-to-end supply chain opportunities and costs.
- Establish and implement short and long term departmental objectives.
- Ensure that adequate insurance services (complete supply chain activities / functions) are obtained in order to avoid any future risks.

**Managing Department Budget**:

- Develop the annual budgets for the Supply Chain and approves it by the management.
- Devise plan to control expenditures and communicate to team accordingly.
- Review and monitor all spending and ensure that these are within the set budget and improving the overall supply chain activities of the company.
- Ensure optimum utilization of available resources to create a culture of cost reduction without compromising on service quality.
- Approval of the department budget in line with Company objectives & strategies, and within the designated timeframes.
- Actual vs Budget variance - Cost control / reduction initiative targets

**Warehouse Management**:

- Direct supervision of warehouse activities, suggest improvements, planning, executing and controlling safe and efficient handling, storage and issue of products.
- Develop SOP’s to ensure correct loading of products for deliveries as per the contract.
- Supervise periodical stocktaking and conduct periodical random cycle checks on specific selected items.
- Manage system balance is exactly same as physical stock in the warehouse, examine, clarify and rectify any discrepancies arising.
- Ensure that there is a proper system in place to record and report information of all shipments received and delivered.
- Ensure a neat, tidy and well arranged warehouse.
- Implement Barcode system.
- Maintain and manage safety standards throughout the warehouses.
- Assess the current warehouse capacity and recommend plans for new warehouses keeping in view the forecasting of coming months.
- Ensure all the required licenses for the warehouse is available and up to date.
- Ensure that there is a reasonable accommodation available for the workers.
- Ensure that warehouse is fulfilling all the requirement of Laws of KSA.
- Approved warehouse plan
- Approved loading storage / loading procedure
- Periodic stock taking
- % Variance System Balance vs physical stock
- Implementation of F.I.F.O for Stocking items
- Weekly / Monthly reporting - Cleaning plan
- Availability of required licenses

**Logistic Management**:

- Develop a strong Inbound structure. Ensure that company imports all the goods on time with proper documentation and without any delay to the warehouse.
- Monitors efficiency of (Inbound Logistic) custom clearance (clearing and forwarding process)
- Ensure that proper planning and proper documentation are prepared to minimize demurrages etc.
- Ensure that PO is created within same or maximum next day of PR creation and proper communication with the supplier.
- Ensure the utilization of Company Vehicles to the maximum, thus ensuring the asset utilisation and rent optimisation.
- Develop and monitor the planning, organizing and execution of logistics support activities such as maintenance planning, repair analysis etc.
- Ensures efficiency of distribution process. Ensures the planning process of the dispatch vehicles to streamline the vehicle utilisation as well as OTIF.
- Ensures quality control measures are taken during the dispatch process
- Plan routes to deliver items keeping in view most efficient and economical route to ensure maximum deliveries as per the target without any undue delay.
- Build relationships with suppliers and business partners and 3PL’s to ensure strategy is clearly understood and achieved.
- Recommend addition / purchase of new vehicles keeping in view the trend / demand of the work.
- Monitor the cost vs budget and recommend cost optimization plan.

**Team Development**:

- Develop the skills of staff by filling the GAPS between expected and actual performance through leading, motivating, training, coaching and encouraging
