**Position Overview**

Based at BanoPutaos in Riyadh, in order to further strengthen our KSA team we are currently seeking a:
**Logistics Manager**

(_Kingdom of Saudi Arabia_)

Lead and manage the logistics department including developing and analysing metrics to drive performance and minimize cost. Responsible for managing the warehouses and transportation activities including organising and monitoring storage and distribution of goods.

Responsible for the implementation of the procurement plans to support BanoPuratos KSA strategically. Manage the procurement, and management of suppliers and vendors in support of the delivery of all BanoPuratos products.

**Key Tasks**

**Warehousing**
- Lead the effective development and execution of the warehouses and plans to contribute in the strategic objectives set by the management.
- Plan and manage the activities of warehouses to ensure processes and procedures are followed accurately and efficiently to achieve department business plans and priorities.
- Manage the distribution system to support the development of new markets and existing markets.
- Develop and implement warehouse and inventory processes to improve work-flow and efficiencies.
- Manage capacity within transportation (market) and warehousing (dock throughput and storage space).
- Review transportation routes and carriers to reduce transit time to the warehouse and to customers.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and control, overseeing the receipt, storage, rotation, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods
- Manage the return of goods in line with existing procedures including physical reception and entry in company stock.
- Ensure that materials in the warehouse are organized and maintained in an effective manner.
- Ensure inventory levels are adequate to meet customer needs, suggest inventory changes as appropriate, and ensure accurate inventory control and record keeping.
- Give recommendations concerning expired and damaged stock along with the concerned parties.
- Coordinate with the Sales team to provide timely and accurate replenishment to all BanoPuratos point of sales and customers.
- Provide guidance to his subordinates on operational and people management matters. provide them with mentoring and coaching when necessary, in order to ensure that they are well equipped to tackle the operational requirements from a professional and behavioral perspective.

**Procurement**
- Lead the Procurement Department’s strategy and plans to contribute in the realization of BanoPuratos KSA strategic objectives
- Develop and manage the business relationship between BanoPuratos and its suppliers of assigned commodities in alignment with BanoPuratos strategic objectives.
- Maintain existing relationships with supplier, and establish new relationships to ensure adequate resources and to continually improve pricing and quality of work.
- Develop and implement new purchasing plans to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification.
- Negotiate pricing, payment schedules, insurance requirements and other purchasing considerations within predetermined scope.
- Manage the suppliers base by periodically monitoring, evaluating, and improving suppliers’ performance, and providing recommendations on quality reviews of rejected products.
- Coordinate with sales teams to forecast demand and create supply plans that ensure availability of products needed.
- Analyze current spending and supplier contracts to identify any opportunities for cost reduction.
- Perform document control and maintain contract files in a manner that support accounting and audit purposes.
- Prepare annual budget for the procurement department and identify budget shortages/exceptions and obtain necessary approvals.

**Job Profile**
- Bachelor degree in logistics or any related field.
- 10 - 12 years of logistics experience, out of which 3 years at a managerial level.
- Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management techniques and processes.
- Strong ability to effectively distribute fleets to ensure optimal routing and generate savings in distribution cost.
- Strong ability to accurately identify risks that affect supply, delivery, and customer demand.
