**Head of Statutory and Regulation Compliance**

NEOM The Line

The Head of Statutory and Regulatory Compliance will develop strategies and plans to provide assurance that the statutory and regulatory requirements are being met. The individual will be responsible for leading the development of the process that engages and enables the LINE teams to understand statutory requirements and regulations and amply fulfill these requirements.

**“What You’ll Be Doing”**
- Ensure the Compliance process is fully interconnected with the Regulatory bodies, the Codes and Standards workflow and Project Controls function.
- Report on design performance and on opportunities for innovation, ensuring promotion of customer focus throughout the Design function whilst managing the integrity of the Design.
- Keep the project teams abreast of changes in regulations and legislation, communicating potential implications and mitigation needed to ensure compliance.
- Help to develop organizational understanding and competence with respect to regulations through training, coaching, information sharing and lessons learned reviews.
- Demonstrate leadership and commitment by taking ownership of their responsibility, ensuring that processes, activities and objectives are continuously improved in partnership with NEOM and the Design Delivery Partners Teams
- Commitment to professional engineering values.

**“What Required Skills You’ll Bring”**
- B.S. in Engineering. Higher academic degrees are an added values.
- 20 years of relevant experience in building/infrastructure design and/or construction of large development projects. Proven track record of leading and managing statutory and regulation compliance in large building/infrastructure projects.
- Fluent in English language. Knowledge of Arabic is advantageous, and highly welcomed.
- Ability to understand changes in statues and regulations and ability to communicate implications to the project.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop understanding within the wider project groups.
