Senior Accountant for An Event Management Company

One of our valued clients in KSA is looking forward to hiring a full-time **Arabic speaker Senior accountant for their KSA branch in Riyadh.**

Applicant must hold 5-7 years of experience in the same role preferably in an Events Management company/advertising agency.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Implement the Finance function’s strategic goals, business plans, budgets, and resources in coordination with the Finance Manage.
- Communicate the Finance & Accounting function’s guidelines and processes to employees and ensure a clear understanding of these guidelines.
- Monthly closing of the general ledger and Projects while performing all the tasks included in the applicable monthly closing checklist taking responsibility for all actions ie. updating and signing the checklist (some activities in details: calculation and/ or review and posting of accruals, deferrals, and provisions etc., reconciliation or review of BS accounts; prepare month-on-month variance analysis for the trial balance etc.)
- Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records, verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods or services were received before issuing payment to vendors, Ensure the accuracy of an organization’s financial documents for payment, auditing, and tax purposes.
- Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
- Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner
- Prepare tax calculations and declarations.
- Completing all activities in a timely, Escalating issues/ problems and deviations from the standard process to the Finance Manager.
- Provide guidance on expense vs. capital decisions. Monitor actual costs vs. budgets and establish an early warning system to highlight areas that need management attention.
- Supervision of Payroll Cycle, ensure the payroll process is on time and payroll accounting is completed within a specified timeframe as per established policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the Finance and Procurement deliverables including following the policies, procedures.
- Facilitate the annual audit activities with internal and external auditors by coordinating provision of information required, clarifications required, etc.
- Identifying process improvement opportunities and actively participating in related projects, Budget Sheet, Project profitability calculations.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or relevant field
- 5 years of experience in the field of finance, accounting, and cost control

** Applicant must be available in UAE & willing to work in Riyadh.

**Salary**: ﷼10,000.00 - ﷼14,000.00 per month
