Key Account Manager

**Major accountabilities**:
- Sets business plans, priorities, budgets and performance objectives for assigned Key Accounts, to be approved by the KAM Head
- Ensures cross-functional understanding of these KAM plans with Marketing, Commercial, Market Access and other key functions.
- Allocates resources across Key Accounts to meet the business plan.
- Ensures fulfilment of contractual obligations with Key Account customers.
- Acts as point of integration for services across the Sandoz portfolio in specific Key Accounts.
- Ensures achievement of the Key Account Plans and delivery of the required financial results, while always focusing on opportunities and accounts potential.
- Provides expert insight into the local healthcare system, legislation and their impact on Key Accounts.
- Builds and sustains long term customer partnerships with Key Accounts that create mutual value.
- Ensures access and influence to Key Account and legislative decision-makers in order to achieve a favourable position for the Sandoz portfolio.
- Performs and reports on competitive intelligence activities on Key Accounts.
- Runs or works on projects that develop KAM capability throughout the Country.
- Provides leadership, mentoring and coaching to assigned KAM associates.
**Key performance indicators**:
- Development and implementation of value-based solutions with designated Key Account customers.
- Delivery of results for own Key Accounts, whether institutional or commercial.
- Achieving the Key Account Plans and delivery of the required financial results.
- Effective business relationship with own Key Accounts to deliver current and future business opportunities.
- Development of a customer-centric focus within the Sandoz teams working on own Key Accounts; overall alignment of cross-functional teams and any resources from other functions with the Key Account agenda for own accounts.
- Performance management of any assigned KAM associates.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Handling quality metrics & issues.
- Team management experience is preferred.
- Sales experience in multinational companies.
- Key account management experience.
- Clinical Trial Design, Data Review & Reporting.
- Innovative & Analytical Technologies
**Work Experience**
- 3-4 years’ operational experience in customer-facing roles with some Commercial leadership including Key Account Management experience.
**Education Background**
- University degree in Science or Business further postgraduate qualification or MBA is a plus
