**Key responsibilities of the HR Generalist**
- Partner closely with HRBAs as well as ED&SE team in Riyadh and Dubai to execute HR solutions based on business priorities;
- Foster a robust Risk & Control environment within HR disciplines partnering with regional and global functions as appropriate.

Key aspects of the role include but are not limited to:

- **Partnership and Client Management**:

- Establish & maintain strong relationships with HR colleagues locally and in the region
- Partner with various internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Finance, Audit, Legal)
- Provide contingency cover and support for ED&SE and HRBA team members in the MENA region
- **Recruitment**:

- Assist HRBAs with the recruitment process to ensure a pipeline of talent to support business needs and growth.
- Coordinating and conducting HR interviews
- **HR Systems and Applications**
- Knowledge and ownership of various Government platforms relating to Labour / Saudization / Local governance with emphasis on managing GOSI requirements via their dedicated platform
- **Risk Management & Regulatory Reporting**:

- Become apprised of regulatory reporting requirements in the locations and assist in compiling reports as and when required for internal and external audits, regulators, reviews
- Work closely with ED&SE team to perform testing related to Risk & Control assessments as and when required
- Report any data privacy breaches and risk event items as soon as they occur
- **Project Management**:

- Work closely with local and EMEA based teams to deliver complex projects with focus on processes standardisation in alignment with overall firm's strategy
- Drive an agenda of self service and operational efficiency in partnership with the Head of HR, ED&SE Countries Head and local leadership
- **Records Management**
- Work closely with ED&SE MENA team to deliver record management activities within global and regional deadlines
- Support in implementation of SOP and task list items in the MENA Region taking into consideration retention metrics as communicated by the global team
- **Regional Metrics Reporting**:

- Partner with ED&SE team in MENA to ensure timely submission of management information requirements / people scorecard: recruitment, retention, mobility. Interpretation of key themes
- **Wellness and Employee Engagement**:

- Work jointly with Head of HR and line partners to understand, communicate, and implement plans, strategies and change initiatives as required by business needs and trends.

**Qualifications**:

- HR experience;
- Knowledge of local market, local employment laws and regulations, local culture;
- Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong working partnerships with clients and HR colleagues;
- Ability to manage a significantly busy agenda;
- Ability to manage confidential/ sensitive information
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, meet deadlines and juggle multiple tasks and demands simultaneously.

**Skills**:

- Numerical skills, attention to details;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess situations using both qualitative and quantitative information;
- Clear communicator;
- PC skills in Excel, Word and Power Point ;
- Fluent in English and Arabic;
- Strong understanding of risk & controls, and knowledge of the local applicable regulations.
