**Job Summary**
- To support team leader in end to end consolidation work flow, involved and not limited to activities/process for SABIC Sub-Groups (e.g., SABIC Agri, SIIC, ISTC, etc.). Correlate, compile affiliate wise data, analysis to provide timely and accurate legal reports which help in finalizing SABIC HQ level Consolidation in-line with the Capital Market Authority & Tadawul requirements. Assist Team Leaders and Sr. Manager to complete legal reporting and analysis to stakeholders to fulfill the queries of external auditors as well as the government auditors related to financial statements. Responsible for the core basic Trial Balance (sub-group level) forming the basis for the Entire Legal, Statutory Reporting and Analysis as required by Law, Policies & Procedures and International Standards.

**Job Purpose & Responsibilities**
- Complete the timely and accurate consolidation of Entities and Sub Group level entities to deliver monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation and reporting. Additionally monitoring and validating SABIC consolidations process in coordination with Statutory Controller for entities and sub-groups. This would require the detail end to end consolidation workflow steps for all affiliates leading up to finalization of Sub-Group level Consolidation and responsible for each facet of Financial Statements which is reported externally and internally through the Trial Balance obtained after all key and non-key Consolidation activities.
- Monitor the performance monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation routines by legal entity for all SABIC Sub-Groups, and run validation routines to verify statutory data and identify inconsistencies. Not just limited to the key/non key steps of the entire work flow but also making sure the adherence to International Accounting Standards and company policies and procedure, by-laws and SABIC Board guidance's.
- Perform the eliminations activities and monitor the performance of final sub-group consolidations. Complete and finalize the sub-group statutory reporting along with reporting financial data (RFD), including commentary and supporting documentation. And ensure confidentiality of all Group financial data prior to release (note: role is a non-stock trader).
- Compile checklist for consolidations process, and prepare supporting documentation for the external reporting of SABIC Sub-Group reports to Sr. team members as they would be then shared with markets, banks, investors and other stakeholders. Maintain the consolidation Master Data and other Master Data related to consolidations.
- Review statutory reports with the Sr. team members as they would be presented to senior Finance management and legal entity management, and regulatory authorities. And ensure executive reporting is accurate, timely, and relevant and provides independent analysis for Consolidation Team lead.
- Prepare, facilitate and finalize consolidations and reporting services to all those affiliates without their own organization e.g. SIIC, ISTC (having individual 15 or more subsidiaries) across multiple regions. And provide expert guidance on controlling and accounting issues to affiliates and shared services which will lead to more effective and timely consolidated Financials at the SABIC HQ Group level.
- Analyze and provide feedback for sub groups (e.g., GCC, MEA, SLUX, etc.) on performance in their existing regional specific systems, processes, guidelines and implement required upgrades as identified and approved by Consolidation Team Members, within the these sub-groups. In addition to continuously find opportunities to make the function’s processes more efficient and effective over the period, and share these with Consolidation Sr. Manager.
- Assist senior team Members in finalizing the zakat financials post year end to be shared with the outside Consultants as well as Internal Direct Tax Dept. Revert back to any queries or request by external consultant in finalizing their submission to Tax Authorities. These financials will be over and above the existing consolidated financials as in line with the Local Direct Tax Authorities directives and latest upgrade in their interpretations (if any).
- Assist the Sr. team member in monitoring consolidations process and identify opportunities for improvement. Support the Sr. manager in executing periodic internal and external benchmarks for analysis of best practices and improvement opportunities.
- Being part of educating, training and monitoring the affiliates for implementing there changes. Be a positive/active part of creating an environment to inclinator learning, knowledge transfer and core skill development for other team members. Developing a program with the support from Sr. Manager to create a bench for yourself to avoid talent drain.
