As well as historic mosques like Masjid Quba, Masjid Al Qiblatain, Masjid Al Jum’ah, Masjid Syed Al Shuhada& Seven Mosques...etc. Close to shopping arcades and a commercial Centre. The hotel is just 25 minutes’ drive from Madinah International Airport.
**What’s the job?**
- Assist the Hygiene & HACCP Manager with the day-to-day requirements of IC Madinah Hotels.
- Be responsible for maintaining the highest level of Food Hygiene and Safety standards in the hotel.
- Work mostly in the production areas, monitoring that food safety procedures are being followed.
- Ensure proper documentation and records are completed by the responsible parties.
- Problem solving related to food and safety issues.
- Assist with enforcing food safety program and procedures, and personal hygiene policies.
- Perform and record Food Safety inspection and report any irregularities and take proper corrective actions.
- Responsible for quality and safety checks for all raw and prepared food products.
- Verify and communicate to appropriate departments any findings as it relates to food safety and/or quality issues.
- Report and assist with correcting any unsanitary conditions in food preparation and food storage/receiving area.
- Report any required maintenance/replacement of food preparation equipment, surfaces, and tools.
- Assist to maintain, and update all records, manuals, training procedures, product specification books.
- Assist with preparation for any and all food safety audits.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food premises.
- Conduct supplier’s audits, respectively fill the supplier audit reports, and evaluate suppliers.
- Coordinate and support the implementation of all the guides from e-crystal Co.
- Be present during the Municipality visits and coordinate with all concerned.
- Adheres to IHG’s Business ethics.
**Your day-to-day (Health & Safety)**
- Ensures that all potential and real hazards are reported and reduced immediately.
- Fully understands the hotel’s fire, emergency, and bomb procedures.
- Ensures that emergency procedures are practiced and enforced to provide the security and safety of guests and employees.
- Ensures that employees work in a safe manner that does not harm or injure self or others.
- Stimulates and encourages a general awareness of health and safety in tasks and activities carried out within the department.
- Follows hotel regulations and adheres to existing laws and regulations.
- Anticipates possible and probable hazards and conditions and either corrects them or takes action to prevent them from happening.
- Ensures that the highest standards of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, appearance, body language and conduct is maintained by all employees in the department
**What we need from you**
- Should be a HACCP/Food Safety certified.
- Applicants should possess relevant educational qualifications.
- Experience in inspecting Food premises, writing reports, and filling the checklists.
- Specialized qualification in food safety and hygiene will be an advantage.
- Should possess a track record of food safety and hygiene within the food industry.
- Ability to liaise with all departments.
- Should possess excellent communication skills.
- Very good computer skills.
- Arabic/English Communication and Written Skills
- Local talents only (**Saudi Nationals**).
