**JOB PURPOSE**

**WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE**
- Handles government related Challenges.
- Responsible for maintaining good relations with the government officials.
- Direct the influencing of policy and legislation.
- Proactively build Unilever’s reputation with policymakers.
- Monitor legislative developments and identify emerging issues to the company.
- Successful resolution of issues requiring work with many individuals and organizations both internally and externally
- Represent Unilever in industry association and participate in external events.
- Provide strategic counsel to Brand Protection officers on business goals with political realities to address them
- Work closely with CD, Supply Chain & Marketing department and support the team in Government relations issues. Implement the government relation projects / programs.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED**

**Experiences & Qualifications**
- +2 years of experience in government legislative roles.
- Experience working with risk control offices/ anti counterfeit offices.

**Skills**
- Ability to maintain good relations with the government officials.
- Ability to handle and work with local people.
- Understand and work within Unilever policies and guidelines.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong proficiency of both Arabic & English language.
