**Your responsibilities**:

- Solutions - The IS Manager will be a part of the following accountabilities:

- Defines, in close consultation with the Business Areas, Countries and Regions, an appropriate organizational structure to support execution of the business's strategies, aligned with the corporate goals, imperatives and guidelines.
- Establishes, maintains, and communicates the organization’s strategy for managing information and the policies, standards, procedures, and methods necessary to implement the strategy in the department of responsibility.
- Accountable for the delivery of capabilities, solutions, and enhancements, creating technology roadmaps which align organizational plans with emerging technology solutions.
- Accountable for the definition, maintenance and implementation of specific frameworks and models for the area of responsibility and the management of the lifecycles of all managed assets.

- Processes, Metrics - The IS Manager will be a part of the following accountabilities:

- Defines global function Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), sets benchmark key objectives, and targets, and delivers results to ABB Group management and external stakeholders.
- Ensures that ABB's performance for the function is regularly reported and audited.
- Defines metrics to measure effectiveness and efficiency of implemented technologies and channels, setting continuous improvement on customer and consumer experiences, and ensures that the technology driven ensures value creation in business.
- Plans and manages the implementation of organization-wide processes and procedures, tools and techniques for the identification, assessment, and management of risk inherent in the operation of business processes and of potential risks arising from planned change.
- Establishes and manages analytics methods, techniques, and capabilities to enable the organization to analyze data, to generate insights, create value, and drive decision-making.
- Accountable for process, metrics, and audits.
- IS Delivery - The IS Manager will be a part of the following accountabilities:

- Authorizes allocation of resources for the planning, development and delivery of all information systems services and products.
- Through measures and KPI’s, aligns with their department heads to prioritize key programs and initiatives.
- Coordinates the promotion, acquisition, development, and implementation of information systems and services in close liaison with those responsible for management and strategy.
- Oversees the management of the end to end of the function and the activities of collating, investigating, analyzing, and presenting information, including resource allocation transparency to the customer/consumer.
- Analyzes service records against agreed service levels regularly to identify actions required to maintain or improve levels of service, and initiates or reports these actions.
- Strategy - The IS Manager will be a part of the following accountabilities:

- Accountable for the overall IS strategy execution.
- Sets strategy for management of technology resources.
- Contributes to strategy or develops and communicates plans to drive forward the strategy.

- Standards - The IS Manager will be a part of the following accountabilities:

- Ensures that a framework of policies, standards, process, and practices are in place to guide provision of IT services.
- Sets policies, standards, and establishes the appropriate guidance, ensuring clarity of responsibilities and authority, goals, and objectives.
- Develops organizational policies, standards, and guidelines for information.
- Contributes to the development of policies, standards and guidelines for strategy development and planning.
- Governance, IS Compliance - Adherence to Corporate IS Policies and Procedures, as well as to both internal regulations and external legislation falls within the area of responsibility of this job.
