- Partner with clients to understand their location-based needs and design solutions using the Google Maps Platform (GMP) suite of tools (Maps, Places, Directions, etc.).
- Integrate GMP with other technologies to create seamless user experiences.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients throughout the development lifecycle.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the Google Maps Platform and related technologies.
- Collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and other team members to achieve project goals.
- Familiarity with various GMP APIs and SDKs (Maps JavaScript API, Places API, Directions API, etc.).
- Experience with integrating GMP with backend technologies (optional, but a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Passionate about location-based technologies and their potential to enhance user experiences.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Experience with web mapping frameworks (e.g., Leaflet, OpenLayers).
- Knowledge of geospatial data formats (e.g., GeoJSON, KML).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience with mobile development (iOS/Android) for integrating maps into mobile apps.
