**Job Summar**:
The control and instrumentation engineer shall be responsible for the design and implementation of basic and advanced control solution and assist the department to provide technical support in all automation aspects. Propose new innovative control and instrumentation solution/project to enhance Yanpet assets reliability.

**Job Purpose & Responsibilities**:

- Analyzes current equipment, identifies inefficiency, needs for improvement aspects in designs and develops solutions to enhance assets availability.
- Ensure the availability of control systems and instrumentation assets by implementing best practices and approved methodologies.
- Collaborates with R&M engineers to develop accurate, efficient equipment and instrumentation in accordance with safety and usability standards and PMT expectations.
- Oversees the implementation of new measuring devices and control systems, ensuring devices are installed and properly tested.
- Monitor and enhance the performance of process measurement such as pressure, level, temperature and flow.
- Lead/Support all Process control projects.
- Establish a long-term obsolescence program and propose required upgrades.
- Manage IT ambassador activities.
- Manage services contracts.
- Extend technical support to the field maintenance team in troubleshooting for the problems reported on process measurement.
- Review and design change packages for process measurement to ensure proper installation.
- Participate/lead in technical committees and incident investigation studies.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

**Minimum Education/Experience Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree in instrumentation and control systems engineering
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in international standards and SABIC engineering standards.
- Thorough understanding of test methods, digital and analog circuit design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in instrumentation and control systems “5-9 years”
