WSP Middle East are currently seeking a highly skilled MEP Lead to join our team in Jeddah, KSA.

As an integral member of our property and building business unit, you will spearhead MEP design initiatives, ensuring the seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within our projects.
**Your new role, what's involved?**
- Lead and manage MEP design and engineering projects from conception to completion, adhering to project timelines and budgets.
- Lead the MEP design process for property and building projects, from concept development to detailed design phases, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
- Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems harmoniously within building designs, while optimizing space utilization and functionality.
- Utilize your expertise in MEP design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and related tools to create accurate and innovative design solutions, incorporating sustainable practices and energy-efficient technologies.
- Conduct thorough analyses and evaluations of MEP designs, identifying opportunities for optimization, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the design and construction phases, addressing any design-related challenges and ensuring timely resolution.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in MEP design and technology, incorporating best practices and innovative solutions into project designs.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, mentoring junior designers and engineers to enhance their skills and capabilities in MEP design.

**We'd love to hear from you if you have**:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 12 years in MEP design and engineering, with a focus on property and building projects in the Middle East region.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and standards in Saudi Arabia.
- Proficiency in MEP design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MEP-specific analysis tools.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.
