On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Payroll Manager

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to oversee all aspects of payroll operations. As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation, benefits, and deductions. Your role will involve managing a team, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Payroll Processing**: Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including calculating wages, salaries, overtime, bonuses, and deductions. Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries to employees.

**Compliance**: Stay updated with relevant labor laws, taxation regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance with payroll-related requirements. Implement necessary changes in payroll processes and systems accordingly.

**Team Management**: Lead and supervise a team of payroll professionals. Assign duties, provide training and guidance, and conduct performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

**Payroll Systems and Technology**: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems and software. Leverage technology to streamline processes, automate calculations, and enhance data accuracy.

**Benefits Administration**: Collaborate with HR and benefits providers to administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks. Ensure accurate and timely deductions and contributions.

**Audits and Reporting**: Conduct regular audits to verify payroll data accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and address any issues. Generate payroll reports for management and finance teams as required.

**Stakeholder Collaboration**: Collaborate with HR, finance, and external vendors to ensure smooth payroll operations. Coordinate with HR for employee onboarding, terminations, and changes in compensation. Liaise with finance for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

**Process Improvement**: Continuously review and improve payroll processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Identify opportunities for automation, implement best practices, and streamline workflows.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, human resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years proven experience in payroll management, preferably in the banking sector or a similar industry.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, labor laws, and taxation requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in payroll software and systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus.
