Your Opportunity
We are looking for a People Manager who is Responsible for the management, guidance and operational strategic direction for the contract, ensuring that international best practise Facilities Management and customer service are delivered as per the requirements of the Project Agreements.
Key Accountabilities
Human Resources
Works with both the HR Business Partner and HR Shared Service management to agree and implement strategies that support business objectives such as but not limited to:
- Internal policy establishment & authentication
- Employment contract authentication
- Fix and monitor the Nitaqat and improve the percentage of Saudisation
- Ownership and produce a Nationalisation Strategy
- Lead and implementation of Nationalisation programme i.e. Fursati, Tamheer,
- Payroll, Overtime, final Settlement and TG calculation and payment to be in line with KSA regulations
- Supporting the HRBP and UAE HR team in the regional office in the visas planning for Serco KSA contracts, processing and advice on visa solutions across all the KSA bids
Provides a proactive and/or “on demand” advisory and consultancy service to people managers on a range of human resources issues, employee life cycle procedures and
policies, consistent with employee standards, legislation and guidelines in the county of operations;
Ownership of the implementation and monitoring of the Performance Management
process within their contracts, including providing training to people managers;
Prepares weekly and monthly reports and make sure the Serco Essentials training is
delivered.
Manage ad hoc projects as directed by the HRBP.
Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Role Accountabilities
To support the Senior Leadership in leading the development and implementation of the Serco Management System (SMS) and provide the leadership to ensure that contents of
Health, Safety Quality & Environment and Information Security Policy Statement are known and understood by the contract staff
To comply with the organization’s QHSE policies and procedures at all times.
Conduct regular leadership HSE tours and inspections
Ensure security and integrity of all data provided including reporting performance, finance and customer information; reference Serco non-disclosure policy
Ensure compliance with all training requirements of Serco and ensure adherence to these requirements at all times whilst in employment
Report any accidents, incidents, breaches or potential breaches to appropriate management or the speak up process
Specific Requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
A recognised HR qualification (CIPD or equivalent) is preferred.
Qualifications in Facilities Management related disciplines is desirable
7 years minimum Generalist HR experience, 5 years of which is supervisory/people manager capacity.
5 years minimum experience of managing people within a Facilities Managemen / Customer Service in a fast paced environment
Practical experience in managing complex ER cases, including redundancies,restructures, disciplinary and grievance cases and complex case management, performance and reward management, people transitions
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to ensure that employee
Ability to build strong working relationships/networks with all stakeholders and maintain a high degree of integrity.
