The Job Opportunity
By monitoring the project's progress, identifying any issues or challenges, and providing guidance and support, the follow-up and supervision advisor helps to ensure that the project meets its objectives and delivers value to the customer.
The Follow up and Supervision Advisor typically reporting to the Project Lead
The reporting relationship between the two is critical for effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
The key purpose
To ensure that the project's operation and maintenance activities are conducted efficiently and effectively. A follow-up and supervision advisor is responsible for monitoring the project's progress, identifying any deviations from the project plan, and providing guidance to ensure that the project stays on track.
Key accountabilities
Follow-up the workflow and ensure that all tasks and activities specified are carried out in quality and timely manner.
Prepare a plan to follow up on work progress.
Identify operational risks and steps needed to avoid and resolve them and make recommendations
Review the proposals provided by the project's external suppliers and make recommendations.
Coordinate with various parties such as external consultants, government agencies and other relevant work teams in order to contribute to the completion of various work and activities.
Follow up and review activities and ensure compliance with quality standards and report on works completed.
Prepare periodic reports, prepare completion reports and measure performance indicators and project success factors.
Collect information and develop and update a database of all project details and information
Prepare periodic reports on public performance and works completed
10 years minimum work experience in similar role
Monitor the project's progress and provide regular updates to the project team and stakeholders.
Identify any issues or challenges that may arise during the project and work with the project team to develop effective solutions.
Ensure that the project's operation and maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with the required quality standards.
Ensure that the project team has the necessary resources, such as personnel, equipment, and materials, to conduct the operation and maintenance activities.
Be engaged with project stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulators, to ensure that their needs and expectations are being met.
