Atkins, a member of SNC Lavalin Group, is looking for an experienced **Senior Design Manager (Architect/Urban Planner)** to join one of their exciting projects in Neom, KSA

**Job Summary**:

- Combination of architectural, urban design, and master planning expertise
- Leading a multidisciplinary team to create cutting-edge, holistic built environments
- Strategic guidance on technical design standards and large-scale infrastructure projects
- Ownership and responsibility of high project standards, budget, and with safety and quality control
- Building team consensus and enthusing team members to contribute their best efforts

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate current procedures and lead technical design reviews to ensure project is delivered with best overall value
- Design management and project management Providing insightful recommendations and solutions to any technical issues
- Guiding designers, reviewing designs, and ensuring they meet project requirements and scope of work
- Creating, submitting, and tracking Capex documentation

**Requirements**:

- Master’s in Engineering or related discipline
- 8-15 years’ relevant experience
- International experience in design and construction of infrastructure projects
- Strong design & management skills
- Urban design experience, with a focus on masterplanning
- Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills
- Familiarity with entire project lifecycles from perception to post-occupancy review
- Understanding of geographic, political, and economic issues shaping cities
