**Position Overview**:
**Core Responsibilities**:

- Performs complex domestic and international multi-leg shipment responsibilities in support of project requirements to ensure the safe, timely, and economical delivery of goods to meet project requirements.
- Supporting the development of integrated and phased logistics plans, including but not limited to people movement, material movement, the introduction of abnormal loads, and others to meet the overall construction schedule and milestones.
- Streamline and enhance end-to-end logistics processes to improve lead times and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Proactively identify potential logístical challenges and implement solutions to mitigate project risks.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with LSP to drive performance improvements and ensure assigned LSPs performance follow the contract and within schedules and budgets.
- Coordinates and collaborates with various functions/disciplines teams to meet project operational demand and core metrics.
- Utilize forecasting tools and historical data to predict demand trends and plan logistics operations accordingly.
- Develop and implement effective transportation strategies tailored to the unique requirements of construction projects.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (project managers, Contracts, etc.) and external stakeholders (EPCM, etc.) to integrate logistics plans into overall project plans and monitor progress.
- Supports with timely entry of shipment tracking data into Oracle Transportation (OTM) to provide visibility shipment status and utilize standard tools to maintain critical data tracking and project reporting.
- Ensure continual monitoring of LSP key performance indicator (KPI) to ensure services are carried out as contracted for and to ensure that project requirements are satisfied, and equipment requirements performance conforms to standards as reflected in LSP scope.
- Assists with preparation of Logistics service provider bid tabs, commitment authorizations and contract documents within the scope of Bechtel policies and procedures. Assists with the development of logistics budget, estimates reforecast, cost trend and deviation tracking, and logistics acquisition plan.
- Ensures timely audit and processing of Logistics service provider invoices in accordance with project procedures.
- Assists in preparation of Logistics reports or performance metrics as required to satisfy project information requirements. Ensures project operations is consistent with well-established and clear corporate and functional requirements.
- Assists the project Logistics lead as requested.
- Assists with filing and resolution of Logistics service provider claims.
- Assists with preparation of logistics studies including site and Logistics service provider facility visits.
- Performs administrative Logistics support tasks primarily in the home office or field.
- Collaborating with project team and contractors to address interface issues and optimize performance to exceed project goals.
- Integrates safety requirements and measures in all Logistics activities.

**Key Requirements / Specialties**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain best practices, including forecasting, materials management.
- Knowledge of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) importing and exporting formalities and processes.
- Knowledge of domestic and international trade and delivery terms, laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of industry packing, making, and shipping requirements.
- Knowledge and practical understanding of Incoterms (2020).
- Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and supply chain dynamics.
