**Role summary**: The Assistant Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for implementing marketing strategies, analyzing market trends, and supervising the marketing team to enhance brand image and increase market share.

**Education**: Preferably a bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration or related field.

**Qualification summary**: Demonstrated ability in managing teams, experience working in FMCG sector and excellent strategic planning skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with national trade marketing manager to prepare got to market plans for all new launches and other key initiatives.
- Assist the national trade marketing in monitoring the financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential areas of cost reduction or performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
- Co-ordinate with Marketing, Key Accounts and Merchandising to develop clearly execution plans for new product/promotional launches in terms of merchandising guidelines, use of POSM, prices on shelf, and track and monitor execution via the regional Key Account and merchandising teams, create relevant templates to track and monitor progress, provide timely feedback to national trade marketing manager.
- Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the trade marketing activities to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
- Prepare reports of the Trade Marketing section timely and accurately to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.
- Lead the development of POS articles (chillers, shelves, POSM etc.) and ensure timely availability in line with initiative timelines.
- Visit different branches and markets on monthly basis to observe the overall in market execution vs the standards guidelines.
- Conduct regular promotional analysis and prepare reports to be reviewed by the national Trade Marketing Manager.
- Monitor on regular basis the sales discounts and trade marketing budget.
