**Responsibilities**
- Take responsibility for projects and solutions within larger business initiatives.
- Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems to provide a commercial advantage in the global marketplace.
- Enable faster and smarter business processes and develop analytics for meaningful insights.
- Work with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements.
- Act as the primary point of contact with procurement for all IT-related requirements, and procure IT assets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Evaluate and recommend hardware, software, and IT services based on organizational needs.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to stay informed about new technologies and products.
- Develop and implement IT asset management and system policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and subscriptions.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with asset management policies.
- Provide administrative support for IT-related activities, including scheduling meetings and managing documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand IT requirements and facilitate necessary actions.
- Ensure the efficient use of IT resources and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Perform server administration tasks, including user/group management, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event-log warnings and errors, and monitor resources to ensure seamless systems architecture.
- Monitor data-center health using existing management tools and respond to hardware issues, assist in building, testing, and maintaining new servers when needed.
- Maintain internal infrastructure requirements, including laptops, desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, and security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
- Manage and execute system integration tasks, ensuring seamless connectivity and interoperability across IT infrastructure components, while troubleshooting and resolving integration-related issues for optimal system performance.
- Assist the help desk and other teams with troubleshooting, identify root causes, and provide technical support when needed.
- Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems, including backups, develop, and implement backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure the organization's data is protected from loss or damage.
- Conduct regular tests to ensure the effectiveness of backup and recovery processes.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Ensure systems comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Optimize system configurations to achieve optimal performance.
- Administer and maintain servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms.
- Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to offer training and guidance on IT-related topics.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred.
- hands-on experience similar to server delivery environments for a minimum 3 years.
- Knowledge of Microsoft and Unix systems administration.
- Professional certification MS 102 (365 Administration), MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, RHCSA, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), ITIL Foundation considered as an added qualification.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
