**Your Impact**:
This role is considered a key function for providing client experience and major program strategy from design and technical capability through to design development, construction management, operator coordination and handover of the complete projects. This role will support, develop, and govern the execution of the Precinct strategy and deliver client requirements. The role will lead and mentor staff (formally and informally) within the program environment and will be expected to contribute to the business planning activities.

It is anticipated that the role will initially involve providing direction to project teams, but also working collaboratively with associated Senior Leaders, Senior Project Managers and teams to develop capability and bench strength to position Jacobs as a market leader in this area.

The purpose of this role is to lead, at the most senior level, delivering innovative solutions that provide superior value to our key client. You will:

- Experience managing competing and complex demands to ensure timely delivery of projects considering quality, cost efficiencies and timeframes and assessing variations while resolving conflicts and priorities.
- Lead the development and commercial management, including project wide third-party agreements, using a variety of contract types to facilitate successful project delivery whilst managing project budgets and financials.
- Project governance forums to address issues, review status and manage key actions, work with the relevant support teams to implement robust change management and communications plans
- Evaluate the performance of program in terms of cost, time and quality whilst reporting on project performance
- Identify, manage and mitigate the delivery risk exposure to the business by ensuring adequate controls are identified and applied to delivery risks in the program
- Report to executive leadership teams in the administration of the risk management process at a senior project level, particularly with respect to risks to the achievement of key project objectives and escalation of risks
- Act as the escalation point for issue resolution, manage network priorities, cross-Project demands and Stakeholder management.
- Pursue project delivery excellence through the recruitment, development, and retention of suitably qualified project teams
- Support capability development aligned to the program strategy whilst developing and maintaining the framework of Program Managers required to suit the evolving needs
- Develop and implement a set of priorities and goals to underpin the success of the Delta B program through harnessing the benefits of diversity and inclusion by providing visible inclusive leadership, effective succession planning, exploring recruitment and retention strategies and providing mentoring/sponsorship to staff
- Shape the direction of the delivery based on future-focused insights and thought leadership and Jacobs’ focus areas
- Provide delivery leadership whilst actively participate in Client engagement and business development opportunities in pursuit of future work for the business
- Collaborate with and support the Program/Project Management cohort to bring the best of Jacobs to bear on every opportunity and project undertaken across the business

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:

- Must have hands-on experience in delivering multiple billion-dollar programs/projects from the Entertainment/Sports and Arts industry and have a sound technical working knowledge.
- Strong communication skills to articulate a clear technical direction with good social, networking and presentation skills. With ability to confidently deliver design presentations to large groups and VIP audiences.
- Leverage existing relationships to identify and develop key client relationships and provide strategic input into the program relationships at a regional level.
- Demonstrate leadership skills to set clear goals, motivate teams and produce results. With ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver challenging goals and objectives using industry knowledge to aid decision making.
