**Role responsibilities**:

- Support the installation and maintenance of passive network components, such as patch panels, junction boxes, and cable trays.
- Assist in the installation and termination of fiber optic and copper cables according to industry standards and project specifications.
- Perform testing and inspection of installed cables using appropriate tools and equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving connectivity issues related to passive infrastructure, including cable faults and signal degradation.
- Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to implement network designs and configurations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installation activities, including cable layouts, test results, and equipment inventory.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development activities to enhance technical skills and knowledge of passive telecommunications systems.
- Provide timely updates and reports on project progress and status to Team Lead and project managers.
- Assist in performing site surveys and assessments to gather information for new installations or upgrades.

**Qualifications and Required Experience**:

- Technical certification or relevant coursework in telecommunications or networking preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the telecommunications or IT industry.
- Basic understanding of passive network infrastructure components and installation techniques.
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools and equipment used for cable installation, termination, and testing.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
