We are looking for a highly qualified Arabic Speaker / Arabic National for Aftermarket Technical Sales for the Mining Industry for our office “FLSmidth Saudi Arabia LLC” located in Al Khobar
Role Purpose:
Developing new business, promoting new markets, supporting existing customers in a specific customer base by improving competitive position; get (RFQ's); identifying and meeting customer needs; solve customer problems; Coordination and dissemination of appropriate information. This center will sell mining and mineral products to its client base. Products include replacement/replacement parts, conversion parts, upgrades (upgrades, conversions, and customer completed repairs), service level agreements, and field service repair and maintenance. The customer base is primarily in the Middle East.
**Responsibilities**:
- Plan and direct sales/service programs to promote new markets, develop new business and provide efficient and prompt service to the existing customer base.- Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with current and potential clients.- Create a positive image of Flsmidth with customers to become the preferred seller with their own base.- Conduct customer visits with existing and potential customers to identify and proactively address concerns, resolve issues, and meet or exceed expectations.- Act as a point of contact to provide market, industry and trend data with clients, marketing and sales staff and other Flsmidth representatives.- Coordinate kick-off meetings with clients to monitor progress and identify/address issues.- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Flsmidth's capabilities to keep abreast of new products and technologies.- Manage quotation activity through Flsmidth Systems to assist with resource management.- Manage and maintain CRM to effectively organize customer communications and basic installation.- Conduct market/customer research to identify potential sales and assess customer needs.- Will travel at least 60% of the time annually, both domestically and internationally.- Gather correct technical data and represent FLSmidth aftermarket at locations in Middle East- Maintaining strong relationships with our existing client base and building strong relationships with potential new clients in the mining industries- Ensure the delivery of services and successful solutions to mining clients within the Middle East- Gather comprehensive knowledge of markets and project activities in the Middle East- Assisting the overall sales process towards the customer, including submitting technical and commercial proposal until final negotiations- Ensure adherence to the FLSmidth Safety Policy and follow up on compliance within the Special Area of Responsibility- Report on regional sales opportunities - forecast quarterly and annual business results.- Preparing and reviewing the annual budget for the area of responsibility- Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth.
Budget and Sales Forecast:
- Provide monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.- Achieve or exceed the agreed budget. Order Generation:
- Consult with customers to understand their needs.- Translate customer requirements and needs into effective solutions.- Compile and present technical presentations and quotations to customers
What you bring- Must possess a bachelor’s degree in, Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing-
- Must have a minimum of 8+ years of experience with custom in technical sales and services in the mining industry.- Excellent interpersonal technical skills - preferably a general technical understanding of mining equipment and sales skills - an understanding of customer organizations for how to make a purchasing decision.- Human Relations Skills - They have interpersonal skills to create good relationships with client staff and how to communicate effectively externally and internally.- Language skills - Arabic (mother tongue) and English fluent in reading and writing.- Good knowledge in mining and mineral equipment such as, crushers, sizers, HPGR, apron feeders,, sag, ball & rod mills, classifiers, HBF filters, flotation and classifiers, clarifies and thickeners, downstream gold etc..- Proficient with computer software - MS office, CRM, SAP, Power BI- Excellent customer service skills- Effective negotiation skills and handle complaints and objections
