Assistant Manager, Facilities Management

**1)** **Job Purpose**:
Ensure that all required tasks and work (regarding facilities) is conducted by closely following up and managing the contracted service providers and through regularly inspecting the facilities in order to safeguard malls image and operations.
**2) Main Accountabilities**:
**2-**Closely monitor the contracted staff through conducting on-site visits and evaluate performance accordingly to ensure tasks are conducted up to KINAN standards in terms of quality, safety and time frame
**3-**Ensure that periodic preventive maintenance/ inspection is conducted for all equipment in the facility within the agreed maintenance schedule including HVAC, lighting system, escalator/elevators, Fire Systems. Ets to record and conduct corrective maintenance or plan for future repair/replace
**4-**Monitor maintenance expenses and implement cost reduction measures whenever possible and in alignment with mall budget without any reduction in the level of services and quality to maintain expenses within approved budget / obtain saving.
**5-**Pay special attention to safety and security measures/ equipment including fire alarms/extinguishers, as well as emergency exits and to coordinate with approved vendors for testing to ensure all systems are working efficiently.
**6-**Evaluating the performance of the systems and equipment in the mall and submitting supporting documents in case of replacement or re-improving and packing them with numbers. The necessary cost and a study of its feasibility in preparation for its inclusion in the budget for the next year to have proper procedure to build up a case and grant an approval
**7-**Follow up, support Fit-Out team during fit-out works for new tenants to ensure contractors following KINAN standards
**Requirements**:
**Required Education & Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree Engineering/ Engineering Technology or equivalent.
- 2-5-year experience in facilities management / maintenance.
**Required Languages & Computer Skills**:
- Arabic.
- English: Good to business professional Level.
**Required Kinan Competencies**:
- Saudi National
- Good to high level of Delivering Customer Excellence skills.
- Ability to supervise team / contractors and evaluate performance.
- Ability to search for alternative solutions.
- Ability to Championing Transformation + Innovation.
