Job Summary

The Catering BD/Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of catering services, managing client relationships and client retention. This role requires strong organizational skills, a commitment to customer service and proven ability to manage an end to end sales process from lead generation, tender /proposal writing, presentations, contractual negotiations and sales to operations handover. This is a start up role which will require an entrepreneurial approach to creating growth from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Development:

- Identify and pursue new catering business opportunities in various segments

(construction, corporate, remote sites, healthcare, Oil & Gas, events)
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote services.

2. Client Relations:

- Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Conduct site visits and meetings with potential clients to present catering options.

3. Event Management:

- Collaborate with clients to plan and execute catering events, including menu selection, layout, and logistics.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and vendors to ensure quality service and satisfaction during events.

4. Proposal Preparation:

- Create and present customized catering proposals /tenders and contracts to clients.
- Prepare budgets and pricing, ensuring profitability.

5. Market Analysis:

- Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.
- Utilize feedback from clients to enhance service offerings and customer satisfaction.

6. Team Coordination:

- Work closely with the catering team to ensure seamless execution of the contract.
- Train and support staff on catering sales strategies and service standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within large volume / industrial and contract catering.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and catering/event management software.
- Written & spoken English & Arabic required
- Self-motivated, resilient and target driven
- The ability to develop strong internal relationships with internal teams and colleagues
- Experience with preparing a financial summary for pricing
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software such as sales force
- Strong understanding on food and beverage industry regulations and guidelines
- Understanding and knowledge of KSA laws and regulations
- Availability to start immediately

**Education**:

- Master's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Managment: 1 year (preferred)
- Business Developments: 1 year (preferred)
