**What you will be doing**

As a Category Management Director you will be responsible for leading a team of category managers towards driving negotiations and pricing/purchasing strategies

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Category contribution (volume margin, net activation costs) Full scope
- Category strategy design
- Strategies implementation and execution in KSA and UAE
- Strategies guidelines / follow up / support in other operating countries and franchise
- Develop the Category strategy design whilst making sure it’s:

- Coherent with brand DNA, customer proposition, customer targets
- In line with brand’s financials goals
- Leading all channels: brick & mortar, e-com, marketplaces
- Design and implement winning strategy vs key competitors
- Category focus / Brand portfolio / Assortment management
- Mapping needs
- Complementary / impactful propositions
- Comprehensive and relevant price positioning
- Curation by store clusters (e-com, flagships, large, medium, small / customer profile)
- Trade terms negotiations
- Managing brands relationship
- Design, co-build with the brands booster plans
- Manage regular activation plan / brand participation into category strategies
- Manage WoW relationship : 3Y plan, annual budget, implementation
- Organize / manage key business cycles with brands (business reviews, strategy meetings)
- Lead brand portfolio evolution / new brands launch
- In collaboration with MC team / supporting Beauty Division
- Define needs
- Select brands
- Design and implement launch plans in close relationship with other departments (retail, marketing,)
- Performance monitoring
- KPIs
- Sales targets
- Net margin
- Net contribution (incl. ops costs)
- Budget preparation, follow up
- Define and implement corrective actions when needed/appropriate

- Leadership abilities
- Previous experience leading a similar role
