As a Laboratory Informatics Specialist, you will be responsible for field service delivery for the business, delivering technical support and preventative maintenance on the assigned BD informatics platforms and systems within the region, in order to guarantee customer satisfaction through an outstanding service and mastery of reported incidents and requests of the customer.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Execution and delivery of service KPIs and deliverables.
- Ensure high quality service for the IDS business.
- Exemplifies service excellence, industry leadership and levering service innovation to fuel customer and business success.
- Helps to develop and implements the strategy, prioritization and local geographic strategy deployment processes to enable IDS strategic and annual operating plans in assigned area.
- Establishes and cultivates deep relationships with IDS peers and Country Sales Leads and ensures strategic, commercial and operational alignments to their local targets.
- Provides timely, effective and profitable delivery of all in-scope product services to end-user customers for IDS through local Technical Service organizations
- Support the launch and adoption of new technologies and portfolio innovations with particular focus on informatics solutions.
- Supports end-to-end account management and customer teamwork to deliver high levels of customer happiness for IDS products and services.
- Serves as a role model and mentor by demonstrating BD values.
- Effectively collaborates with local and MENAT marketing, Sales and Customer Service teams,
- Drives and improves service value to customers, using it as differentiation. Works closely with Sales to deliver this differentiation.
- Attend with collaborative spirit the Laboratory Informatics team meetings.
- Works with team leaders and staff to ensure a commitment, customer-oriented work environment.
- Live changes, integration and transformation in a positive manner
- Collaborate with the Lab Automation Project Manager and the Lab Automation Application Specialist during the implementation phase of Lab Automation projects, to ensure a smooth transition of ownership after launch.
- Serve as first contact for customers after launch on workflow optimization, to provide direction and support on operation and maintenance of BD instruments, as well as to solve minor technical issues.
- Co-lead regular meetings with the customers together with the BD service team, to review the impact of implemented BD solutions, propose improvements, and identify potential opportunities.
- Work closely with technical support team, sales and marketing to timely address customer concerns, determine corrective action and customer follow up.
- Provide refresher customer training on a need basis, to sustain an effective use of BD instruments and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain appropriate records as required by the company.

**Preferred Requirements**:

- Requires a Degree in Computer Sciences/Networking/Technical degree or comparable, demonstrable knowledge and experience, Bachelor's degree BS/BA in Biology or Medical field (preferred).
- Experience in hospital setting, working with diagnostic instrumentation and related software programs, lab background is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years progressive service and commercial experience within a multi-cultural, highly matrixed global company in a Life Sciences, medical, biotech or similar industry, experience in service delivery supporting targets of a global service organization.
- Experience on Lab Automation systems and services.
- Ability to work independently and comfortable working in a cross functional dynamic environment.
