**Responsibilities**:
The Assistant Construction Manager assists in the supervision of the field construction of a single large or complex project including organizing, planning, and scheduling, in order to complete the work on time, within budget, and to quality specified.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and
- Ensure all company, client, and project policies, procedures, standards, is adhered to and interpret policies as required.
- Maintain official project log and documentation files and keep the Construction Manager, Project Manager, Project Director, or Construction Director updated on the
- Work closely in assisting with the implementation/ interpretation of safety
- With the PMCS Manager implement overall project work schedules identifying the critical path. Raise with the Construction Manager any cases of discrepancies/delays.
- Work on the planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required as instructed by the Construction Manager, Project Manager, Project Director, or Construction
- Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements at all
- Assist in the overall site safety program as required and ensuring Contractors’ compliance with standards and all applicable safety codes and
- Assist in documenting project field issues that impact budget, quality or schedule, including participation in project update and construction-related meetings with all
- Develop a comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of the contract documents (including contract, plans, specifications and applicable codes).
- Help the Construction Manager, Project Manager, Project Director, or Construction Director in managing the billing process as it relates to Work-In-Place (WIP) and oversee the monthly estimate of work completed, payments, material invoices, and contractors’ payment

Qualifications:
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree (or a correspondent international degree) plus a minimum of 8 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or
- Basic knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, and engineering principals &
- Solid knowledge of various construction methods and materials, their characteristics, installation procedures and tolerance.
- Utilizes leading-edge technologies such as
- Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and interpersonal
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
