Performance Management Manager

We are hiring for a well-established and reputable residential real estate development company headquartered in Jeddah.
**Job Summary**:
The Performance Management Manager, operating within the Strategic Management Office (SMO), is responsible for developing and overseeing the organization’s performance management framework. This role ensures that individual, team, and organizational performance is aligned with the company’s strategic goals and long-term objectives. The Performance Management Manager works closely with senior management to track key performance indicators (KPIs), evaluate progress, and ensure that performance metrics drive the achievement of strategic initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Performance Management System Development**:
- Design, implement, and manage a performance management system that is integrated with the organization's strategic goals.
- Establish performance policies and frameworks that support the long-term vision of the Strategic Management Office.
- Ensure that the performance management system supports continuous improvement and enhances overall organizational effectiveness.
- **Goal Setting and Alignment with Strategy**:
- Work with business units and department heads to ensure that performance goals are aligned with the strategic objectives set by the SMO.
- Support the implementation of performance tools like Balanced Scorecard or OKRs to measure and monitor progress toward strategic goals.
- Facilitate the cascading of strategic goals into departmental and individual objectives.
- **KPI Tracking and Performance Monitoring**:
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) at the individual, departmental, and organizational levels.
- Monitor the achievement of strategic initiatives and provide real-time feedback to senior management.
- Ensure consistent measurement and reporting of performance against established KPIs.
- **Performance Reviews and Feedback Loops**:
Coordinate with department heads to conduct periodic performance reviews, ensuring that performance evaluations are aligned with the company’s strategic priorities.
Promote a culture of continuous feedback to enhance employee engagement and performance.
Train managers on how to conduct effective performance appraisals that support the achievement of strategic objectives.
- **Strategic Reporting and Analysis**:
Provide data-driven insights and performance reports to the Strategic Management Office and senior leadership.
Use performance analytics to identify gaps, trends, and areas of improvement related to the achievement of strategic goals.
Deliver recommendations for improving organizational performance and enhancing goal achievement.
Employee Development and Strategic Talent Management:
Collaborate with HR and Learning & Development teams to design and implement employee development programs that are aligned with the strategic goals of the organization.
Ensure that performance management processes support succession planning and leadership development to meet long-term strategic needs.
- **Integration with Strategic Initiatives**:
Ensure that performance management practices are integrated with other strategic initiatives, such as digital transformation, process optimization, and innovation.
Collaborate with project teams within the SMO to ensure that strategic projects are supported by appropriate performance metrics and accountability mechanisms.
- **Continuous Improvement and Benchmarking**:
Stay informed about best practices in performance management and align internal processes with industry standards.
Regularly assess the effectiveness of the performance management system and recommend enhancements to ensure alignment with the strategic direction of the company.
- **Change Management**:
Lead and manage change related to performance management processes and systems, ensuring smooth adoption and integration across the organization.
Support departments in adjusting their performance targets and processes as strategic priorities evolve.
**Key Requirements**:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Strategic Management, Human Resources, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience (5+ years) in performance management, strategic planning, or a similar role, preferably in a corporate or strategic environment.
Strong understanding of performance management frameworks, including Balanced Scorecard, OKRs, and KPI tracking.
Demonstrated experience in aligning performance management processes with organizational strategy.
Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in performance data analysis and reporting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels.
Experience in coaching and developing managers in performance management best practices.
