Program Management Specialist

Job Purpose

To support the development of overall strategy, operational policies and Program Management framework of the ISFD aimed at improving the positioning, quality and effectiveness of ISFD programs and operations, as well as the sDB Group and the Member Countries. Key Accountabilities (not exhaustive list)
**Strategy development, research, analysis and dialogue**:

- Provide Support to the Lead Poverty Alleviation in developing and implementation of the overall Strategy of the ISFD and ensure its alignment with the IsDB Group Strategy, as well as its harmonization with the Poverty
- Reduction strategy and other social sector strategies of the IsDB. Contribute to the programming of new and pipeline interventions based on internal discussions, as well as dialogue with relevant Sector Departments and relevant stakeholders.
- Support in the management and monitoring, and the execution of the ISFD Strategy focusing on sectorial and geographical focus.

**Policies & Procedures**:

- Support the refinement and development of operational policies for ISFD
- Support the refinement and development of the Monitoring and Evaluation Program.
- Assist in the development/design of programs and projects that enhance the quality, have high impact on the poor in collaboration with the relevant sector departments

**ISFD Portfolio Management & Monitoring Support**:

- Review projects proposals to be co-financed by ISFD and process them for approval by ISFD management.
- Coordinate and monitor ISFD programs / projects in coordination with other team members in program alleviation team and IsDB Units and partners
- Support tracking the implementation progress, outcomes and impacts of ISFD financed projects/programs on the poor.
- Assist in the development of a Results Management System that will support the monitoring and reporting of results and the evaluation of program performance and/or impact
- Participate in the quality assurance of all ISFD Programs and Projects, ensuring compliance with various strategies, policies, guidelines and criteria of ISFD. Participate in strategic engagements, providing specialist advice to key stakeholders involved in ISFD operations

Job Requirements
**Academic and professional qualifications**:

- Bachelor in Economics, Finance, Banking, Business Management, international relations, or any other relevant
discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role(s).

**Languages**
- English - Mandatory
- Arabic - Mandatory
- French - Preferred
