Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Document Control Manager to join our team In this role you will get to be responsible for the Document Control responsibilities associated with the Mobility Sector of the Qiddiya Project.
You will **be responsible for Parsons’s Document Controls Management for SAPL Qiddiya Infrastructure Partner (QIDP). **Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all work is in full coordination with Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) and with Jacobs and Mace delivery partners. QIC is providing strategic direction for all partners in the three-way partnership with Jacobs and Mace on a city-wide basis. Reports directly to the Senior Quality Manager.
**What You'll Be Doing**:
- Selects personnel for project assignments to fulfill client and project requirements. Establishes clear/concise work standards and goals. Provides training and development, reviews work produced, completes performance evaluations, conducts employee counseling, and takes corrective action as necessary.
- Develops estimates and budgets of manpower requirements to meet project requirements. Plans for reassignment, growth, and reduction of work group as project requirements change.
- Processes one or more document types through all procedural steps in accordance with well-defined procedures and guidelines. Ensures that pre-established document control requirements (e.g., which document numbering system will be used; how many and which signatures will be required for certain approvals, etc.) are satisfactorily met throughout the duration of the project.
- Initiates and replies to routine correspondence related to area of responsibility.
- Keeps abreast of department technologies, techniques and services relevant to area of responsibility. Works with other staff members as needed to develop and improve services. Responds to changing technology environment and participates in decision making activities relating to customers’ needs.
- Provides assistance to users in capturing and locating electronic information.
- Maintains an established data distribution system and schedule for the assigned project based upon client, project, department, and supplier requirements. May revise system or schedule as required to ensure timely approvals and distribution.
- Expedites review, signature approval, and release of supplier and internally produced documents.
- Verifies retention requirements, arranges document cataloging, packing, and long-term storage or disposal of appropriate documents at time of closeout. Manages scheduled destruction of archived documents according to company and/or Client guidelines; provides assistance with document retrieval.
- Assists junior document control staff to ensure effective implementation of project-specific procedures. Serves as liaison between support group, home office and field personnel.
- Interfaces with groups inside and outside the organization.
- Proficient keyboard skills and a working knowledge of MS Windows and related word processing, spreadsheet, and database software is required. Good written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project personnel and management.
- Prepare the needed reports.
- Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:
- Degree in MIS or related discipline with minimum 10 years’ experience in construction projects, specifically management experience across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Advantageous to have extensive experience of significant PM/CM contracts.

- Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.
