يُسُتخدم أخصائي الأحداث لتنظيم وضمان سير أنشطة التسويق بسلاسة (الأحداث، المنتديات، القمم، الندوات، الجولات الميدانية، المناقشات الجماعية، إلخ) الداخلية والخارجية من التخطيط إلى التنفيذ. تكون الأحداث الخارجية مُوجهة للعملاء لتوليد العملاء المحتملين، وزيادة الوعي بالعلامة التجارية، وتعزيز المبيعات، بينما تكون الأحداث الداخلية متعلقة بالموظفين لتعزيز التواصل الداخلي ودعم إدارة الموارد البشرية وقطاعات الأعمال.
