AVP - Talent Acquisition

Functional Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies that align with SALIC's business goals and support expansion plans.
- Collaborate with senior management and department heads to identify talent needs, recruitment planning, and future skill requirements.
- Set the annual recruitment plan, outlining objectives, timelines, and resource allocation to meet organizational hiring needs.
- Monitor progress against the recruitment plan, making adjustments as necessary to respond to changing business priorities.
- Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, providing guidance, performance assessments, and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Set clear objectives and KPIs for the team, regularly evaluating progress and implementing performance improvement plans.
- Assess and refine recruitment processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall candidate experience.
- Utilize data analytics to measure recruitment performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive informed decision-making.
- Establish and maintain key recruitment metrics, including Service Level Agreements (SLA), time-to-hire, source of hire, and recruitment efficiency.
- Regularly report on recruitment performance to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with external partners, including recruitment agencies, to support talent acquisition goals and expand the candidate pipeline.
- Participate in recruitment events and fairs to promote SALIC and attract top talent.
- Review and approve job offers before sharing them with candidates, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and market standards.
- Ensure that candidates meet the essential recruitment criteria as outlined in the company policy, including nationality, qualifications, and passing any required assessments.
Managerial Responsibilities
- Provide input to the sector's strategy from the Department's or Section's perspective in line with SALIC's overall vision and mission.
- Develop the department's objectives, KPIs, and annual operational plans and ensure plan execution meets the targets.
- Contribute to the preparation of the Department's annual budget and monitor the financial performance of the Department or Section.
- Implement and execute the Department's policies and procedures. Oversee the overall performance of the section and ensure KPIs are well developed, cascaded, communicated, and monitored.
- Ensure effective recruitment, professional development, and deployment of hires of the Department or sector in consultation with the SVP and Sector Chief.
