Job Title:

AWS Technical Account Manager

As a trusted advisor and cloud operations architect for our Enterprise Support customers, you will have a direct impact in helping our customers gain the most value from cloud technology. You will craft and execute strategies to drive our customers' adoption and use of AWS services, providing advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices. You will proactively keep your customers' AWS environments operationally healthy, ensuring they remain secure, efficient, and cost-effective.

Our Technical Account Managers partner with some of the most iconic businesses in the country, ranging from rising startups to large enterprises undergoing significant transformation. You will provide advice on architecture, support strategy, project, and launch planning, as well as ongoing operational issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will build solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for the customer.
  • You will ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity.
  • You will develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
  • You will drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
  • You will consult with a range of partners from developers through to C-suite executives.
  • You will collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
  • You will proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.
  • You will solve a variety of problems across different customers as they migrate their workloads to the cloud.
  • You will uplift customer capabilities by running workshops and other enablement sessions.

Requirements:

  • You have experience in a similar role as a Technical Account Manager, Consultant, Solutions Architect, Platform Engineer, Systems Engineer, Cloud Architect, etc.
  • You understand operational parameters and troubleshooting for 2 or more of the following: Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security, Applications Development.
  • You have internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience with the ability to clearly articulate to small and large audiences.
  • You can juggle tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are customer-obsessed.
  • You are fluent in either one of the languages: English/Arabic.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • You have professional experience with cloud offerings such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.
  • You have programming or scripting skills with a combination of Java, Python, Perl, Ruby, C#, and/or PHP.
  • You have previous experience as a Software Engineer, Developer, DevOps Engineer, etc.
  • You have an understanding of DevOps practices and tools including Continuous Integration / Deployment, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, Chef.
