Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Sustainability Strategy: Develop and deploy a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with Parsons' goals and objectives.
  • Environmental Management: Provide oversight of project-level risks and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work in partnership with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Technical Leadership: Represent Parsons and the client as required, providing technical expertise and guidance on sustainability and environmental matters.
  • Project Management: Manage the delivery of environmental and sustainability programs, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • EHS Program Management: Implement and manage Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs, including development and deployment of EHS policies and procedures.
  • Supply Chain Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with sustainability and environmental standards.
  • Training and Development: Deliver training and development programs to Parsons' staff on sustainability and environmental best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and positive change within Parsons, promoting a culture of sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental health, environmental law, environmental engineering, or sustainability.
  • Experience: Broad experience of delivering environment and sustainability management programs on large design/construction projects.
  • Professional Membership: Professional membership of a relevant institution, such as IEMA, CIWM, or CIBSE.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
