Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the MEP team on construction projects, ensuring timely completion of MEP milestones and deliverables.
  • Review and interpret MEP design drawings, specifications, and standards to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, closely monitoring costs and implementing cost-saving strategies.
  • Oversee the MEP contractor selection process, promoting local contractors and vendors.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to source and purchase MEP equipment, materials, and systems, supporting the local supply chain.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify and resolve issues or conflicts.
  • Ensure adherence to construction standards, codes, and regulations related to MEP systems in Saudi Arabia.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to verify the accuracy and functionality of MEP installations.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure their requirements are met.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the MEP team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Saudi national with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in MEP construction management, preferably in the construction industry in Riyadh or Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, equipment, materials, and installation practices, particularly in the Saudi Arabian context.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting MEP design drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • Familiarity with relevant construction codes, regulations, and international best practices in Saudi Arabia.
  • Proven experience in managing MEP subcontractors, contracts, and procurement processes, with a focus on supporting local contractors and vendors.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
