Job Overview
The Major Account Manager will focus on proactively selling Trend Micro's products and services into large enterprise accounts. This role requires driving sales growth by engaging customers directly, leveraging partnerships with resellers and Global System Integrators.
Main Responsibilities
- Act as the primary account lead for assigned clients based on the Client Value Proposition.
- Collaborate closely with clients to identify needs, planned initiatives, and business directions, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate on best practices and solutions to address IT and Cybersecurity goals and objectives.
- Provide support and backup to client teams where necessary.
- Establish recognition as the go-to person internally on the own client portfolio.
- Partner with cross-functional teams – including Technical, Regional Account Managers, and Marketing – to understand customer goals and key performance metrics.
- Proactively engage and drive opportunities with respective enterprise customers.
- Maintain a reliable forecast and ensure disciplined use of Trend Micro's sales forecasting, account plans, and customer relationship tools.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive posture, software product offerings, and support services from Trend Micro and other industry leaders.
