Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Control System Manager to join our team at Insight Egypt. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a project monitoring, control, and reporting system that supports ongoing assessment of project performance and facilitates timely adjustment of project execution to achieve project objectives as delineated in the Project Execution Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Monitoring and Control: Establish and maintain a project monitoring, control, and reporting system that supports ongoing assessment of project performance and facilitates timely adjustment of project execution to achieve project objectives.
  2. Project Execution Plan: Assist in the development and provide ongoing maintenance of the Project Execution Plan sections related to project tracking, trending, reporting, and change control elements.
  3. Time Management and Planning: Apply strong time management, planning, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to resolve issues in an effective manner.
  4. Compliance and Ethics: Execute the roles and responsibilities of the position in a legal, ethical, and professional manner and in compliance with Clients Policies and Procedures.
  5. Project Scope and Quality Assurance: Know and understand the project Scope of Work, Drawings, Specifications, Schedules, and Contractor Organization and maintain liaison with contractor management and engineering to ensure work compliance.
  6. Safety Program: Endorse Clients Safety Program and provide leadership and a proactive approach to achieving zero accidents safety results.
  7. Contractor Management: Assist in the management of Owner interfaces or other sub-contracts not in the scope of work of the general contractor.
  8. Change Control: Establish and maintain baseline change control, using change control logs and project change notices. Assist the Commercial Manager in the processing of change order requests, including change order cost estimation and impact.
  9. Schedule and Cost Estimation: Develop, or lead development of, the project schedule and cost estimates and subsequent establishment of the schedule and cost baselines.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: 15 years of experience in project management, cost engineering, estimating, and scheduling.
  2. Skills: Strong working knowledge in Project Cost Engineering, Estimating, and Scheduling. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and skilled in schedule software systems (Primavera and MS Project).
  3. Education: MBA is preferable.
