About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Vendor Manager to join our Amazon GCC team in UAE/KSA. As a key member of our category management team, you will be responsible for developing and owning the P&L and strategy for one of our large categories. Your primary focus will be on driving category growth, managing category profitability, and identifying means to improve the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Category Growth and Profitability: Develop and execute strategies to drive category growth and profitability, including identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience.
  2. Vendor Management: Manage a portfolio of vendors, including negotiating contracts, managing relationships, and ensuring compliance with Amazon's vendor management policies.
  3. Business Analysis and P&L Management: Analyze business data to inform category growth and profitability strategies, and manage P&L to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  5. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including forecasting, ordering, and inventory health.
  6. Supplier Engagement: Engage with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
  7. Reporting and Metrics: Provide regular reporting and metrics to stakeholders, including sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  1. 7+ years of experience in vendor management, account management, project or program management, or buying.
  2. Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experience.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to inform business decisions.
  4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
  5. Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL, and experience with business analysis and P&L management.
