Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer with expertise in coating and welding. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work hands-on with rotating and stationary equipment, contributing to our company's operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical support in coating and welding, including testing and issuing technical reports.
  2. Offer technical consultations to operating units and contractor shops.
  3. Support field installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment.
  4. Troubleshoot, repair, and modify existing equipment to reduce costs and improve processes.
  5. Prepare design engineering packages for rotating equipment.
  6. Conduct technical investigations for shop repair return jobs, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
  7. Introduce and apply the latest coating and welding technologies.
  8. Develop and revise technical procedures and standards.
  9. Mentor junior engineers, quality inspectors, and technicians.
  10. Provide technical input for purchasing specifications and evaluate technical proposals.
  11. Collaborate with department engineers, consulting services, and other company departments.
  12. Coordinate with repair units, quality assurance, and vendors for shop repair work scopes.
  13. Participate in vendor and customer exchange meetings.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Welding Engineering.
  2. At least 15 years of hands-on experience in thermal coating and welding.
  3. Proven experience in thermal coating, laser cladding, and welding.
  4. Experience with rotating equipment in an original equipment manufacturing facility or a certified repairing facility.
  5. Welding certification from AWS or an equivalent organization.
  6. Excellent English reading and writing skills.
