Job Title: Procurement Engineer

Role Purpose:

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for effectively analyzing technical submittals and procuring items accordingly to ensure project success within Abunayyan Holding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and understand Technical Submittals of approved Purchase Requisitions (PR) to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Coordinate and confirm item technical specifications with Project Engineers when necessary to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure a thorough understanding and approval of technical submittals to prevent delays and cost overruns.
  • Collaborate with the project team to understand requested item specifications and provide expert procurement advice.
  • Receive and analyze quotations from vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and terms of delivery.
  • Develop a Comparative Statement for competitive pricing and terms of delivery to support procurement decisions.
  • Comprehend the entire project procurement cycle (PR-GRN) to identify areas for improvement and optimize procurement processes.
  • Receive day-to-day assignments from the supervisor and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain all records and ensure the effective utilization of the SAP system to support procurement operations.
  • Prepare operational reports as required by the line manager or Supply Chain Management (SCM) to inform business decisions.

Necessary Knowledge and Experience:

  • 0-1 year of experience in a related field, preferably in procurement or supply chain management.

Education and Certification Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Job Specific Technical Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Effective collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Time management and follow-up skills to meet project deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to support procurement operations.
