Senior Contracts Administrator, PDS Projects

Job Summary: As a key member of the Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated team, the Senior Contracts Administrator will play a pivotal role in the successful execution and management of construction and development projects. This position requires strong contract administration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure compliance with contractual obligations while minimizing risk exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Administration: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including construction contracts, consultancy agreements, service contracts, and purchase orders.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, monitor performance, and manage any deviations or potential risks.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of contract administration tasks, including document management, change order management, and claims management.
  • Contract Interpretation and Dispute Resolution: Provide guidance on contract interpretation and resolve any contract-related disputes or issues that may arise.
  • Contract Milestone Management: Track and manage contractual milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Contract Audits and Process Improvement: Conduct regular contract audits to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate action plans.
  • Industry Trends and Best Practices: Continuously monitor industry trends and best practices to enhance contract administration processes.
  • Business Development Support: Support business development initiatives by reviewing and preparing tender documents and participating in client presentations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and legal requirements to ensure compliance in contract administration activities.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in contract administration within the construction &/or real estate sectors.
  • Contract Knowledge: Solid understanding of contract terms and conditions, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Negotiation and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle disputes effectively.
  • Attention to Detail and Multitasking: Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in contract management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Cultural Competence: Familiarity with local laws and regulations governing contracts in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
  • Professional Certifications: Professional certifications such as Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) is a plus.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in Arabic is highly desired.
