Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial aspects of large-scale construction and development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Management: Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure alignment with budget and financial goals.
  2. Cost Control: Monitor and control project costs to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and mitigate risks.
  3. Contract Management: Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  4. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
  5. Value Engineering: Implement cost control measures to optimize project profitability and lead value engineering initiatives to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial management within the construction and real estate development industry.
  • Proven track record of managing the commercial aspects of large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost control principles.
  • Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in commercial management software and tools.
