Position Details:

We are seeking a skilled Street View Car Driver to join our team at Different Technologies Pty Ltd. As a key member of our street view collection team, you will be responsible for collecting high-quality panoramic imagery of streets, roads, and public spaces.

About the Position:

  • This is a full-time position that requires safe and efficient operation of our street view vehicles.
  • You will be responsible for collecting and recording street view imagery and associated metadata according to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Additionally, you will perform routine maintenance checks and inspections of the street view vehicle to ensure proper functioning and roadworthiness.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Operations: Safely drive designated routes in our specially equipped street view vehicles while adhering to safety protocols, traffic regulations, and company policies.
  • Camera Equipment Operation: Operate specialized camera equipment mounted on the vehicle, including 360-degree cameras, GPS devices, and other sensors, to capture high-quality panoramic imagery of streets and roads.
  • Route Planning and Navigation: Plan and navigate designated routes using GPS navigation systems and mapping tools to ensure thorough coverage of targeted areas and adherence to data collection requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • 5 years of experience in driving commercial vehicles or similar.
  • Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mapping tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and consistency in data collection.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
